SAMFARM is a recent Sardinian innovative start-up company based in Sassari, Sardinia, Italy.
The company provides agricultural decision support and water management services in the agricultural and industrial sectors.
All services are based on process innovation, perfectly matching the definitions of agriculture and industry 4.0 by using drones with dedicated sensors for each application.

Our Goals
Our idea of innovation combines the farmers’ need to innovate to combat climate change with the environment’s need to reduce water and chemical waste. This brings double benefits: it saves farmers money and respects nature by joining us on a common course towards environmental sustainability.
- Reduce Waste
Reduce waste of water, fertilisers and chemicals by adopting the technique of the right amount at the right time.
During our projects we were able to achieve estimated savings of 20% water and 25% fertiliser.
- Crop Optimization
Optimising crops from a production point of view, keeping an eye out for any production shortfalls due to plant stress, identifying the cause and finding a solution as quickly as possible.
- User Friendly Innovation
Innovating by training.Our project aims to accompany farmers towards sustainable agriculture, paving the way towards technology with the objective of reducing the gap between town and country.
